I’m writing a post about how I’ve dealt with my anxiety and depression during the pandemic, and you just hit one of my biggest secrets.

I’m high risk because of my diabetes and my wife is at extreme high risk after having a kidney transplant. I started out having constant panic attacks before I realized “we’re home together and we can keep ourselves safe. It isn’t going to be fun, but we can get through it.”

That was it. Instead of spending every day worrying about death, I can focus on finding pockets of joy. Maybe it isn’t a Perfect Day, but we have had a lot of Perfect Hours.
