$1/hour is a pretty bad paycheck, but "What hardware store do you like better, and why in 2020, Home Depot or Lowes?" is a pretty bad question. I used Quora a lot in the early days - I was in the first two Top Writer classes - and that question completely misses the point of what originally made Quora such a fascinating place.
